Canoeing or rafting on the Keila river

For canoeing and raft trips, we prefer to use a section with the beginning of Jõgisoo and the end of Keila river island in the courtyard of the Harjumaa Museum. The river is calm most of the hike. One small rapids is a kilometer from the beginning of the hike and the other is slightly larger in the middle of the hike near Tuula village. After the rapids, there is a nice place under the ancient oaks for a small picnic. The hike ends at the Harju County Museum. You can visit the exposition, walk in the manor park, have a picnic.

Hike length: 4-5h.

Price: from 30 €/p.
Minimum 2, maximum 180 people.

The plan:

  • Canoe trip on the Keila River (distance from Tallinn 15km)
  • A light meal in the middle of the hike (if ordered)
  • Visit to Harju County Museum

The price includes equipment for hiking (canoe or raft, vest, paddle). As an additional service, catering can be ordered. Transportation to the beginning of the hike is not included in the price.
drivers will be taken back to the starting point at the end of the hike.
Equipment: As canoes we use a 3 people canoe, which is easy to control for two.
Hiking rafts are lightweight, easy-to manouver and safe, carrying 8-10 people. Difficulty: Moderate, suitable for children. The water trip is 8.5 km long.

Upon request it is also possible to combine both rafts and canoeers.
